ABOUT

Nokalypse is Themistoklis Pantelopoulos, born (1982) and living in Athens, Greece. He has been making music using computer and digital synthesizers since 2000. Former member of the ambient/noise acts Striketsi, Harmatron and Party Butcher during 2002-2004. With the arrival of 2004, electroacoustic, classical music and free improvisation constituted reason for further deepening into the sound-sculpting procedure. In 2005 he released his first album and played live for the first time solo. In 2006 he started Triple Bath, an independent recording label. From this time and on, two fundamental elements of music, rhythm and melody, have disappeared from any sonic product and his sound turned into what is called electroacoustic noise/drone. He has released 6 albums (a 12" vinyl and 5 CDR's) plus a split album on CDR, on labels from Greece, England, Italy and the USA. He is performing live on a laptop running AudioMulch.
